Tryce
Tryce is a 3M Gamette from 1969. It's an interesting twist on Rummy: the game is played on two packs of regular cards with letters on them. Players create runs and groups like in regular Rummy, but also words with the letters in the cards.
The game is based on the traditional card game Progressive Rummy or Liverpool Rummy, each round there's a certain objective to meet and once somebody does that, everybody else gets negative points for the cards in their hands. Those who like Rummy and word games will love Tryce.
