Royal Depth Mahjong sets

Every now and then someone arrives here looking for a Royal Depth mahjong set. Of course I had to figure out what those are... They are old mahjong sets made of bakelite or catalin in the 1930's or so, manufactured by Royal. There's a gorgeous Royal set at Mahjongmahjong.com. Finding something that cool in eBay can be hard and the price won't be cheap - that set is for sale for $475, apparently.
There are other bakelite and catalin (those two materials are, as far as I know, fairly hard to tell apart) sets available, just check our bakelite mahjong set or vintage mahjong set categories, but here's few Royal sets from eBay (grab the RSS feed for Royal mahjong if you want to follow these on eBay):
